Frank Roche Wins Wake County Straw Poll

This has been a tremendous week to say the least. On Monday night the largest Republican county in North Carolina, Wake County, held its annual GOP Convention in the Kerr Scott building at the NC State Fairgrounds. We had a great team assembled to meet and greet the hundreds of those in attendance.

One of the highlights of the night was when we won the widely anticipated Wake County GOP Straw Poll. An early indicator for sure, nearly 400 delegates cast their vote, and made it clear they want Frank Roche as their next Representative for North Carolina’s 4^th District Congressional seat. It was the result of months of hard work making sure the voters of the 4^th District know where I stand on the important issues facing America today. From the years long debate over health care reform, to the economy and jobs, to national security, I showed my strength on the issues and made certain my fellow citizens knew they would have a Representative who would put American First always and everywhere.

I want to thank the Wake County Republicans for their early support, and I want to thank the Wake County GOP for doing such a wonderful job organizing the convention and uplifting Republicans in the Capital City area.

Issues matter in 2010. Our Representative David Prices has been wrong on the issues for decades, and is wrong again in his support of renewed efforts to ram health care legislation through Congress with parliamentary trickery. Issues are the strength of the Roche for Congress campaign.

I am focused on the economy, jobs, national security, federal taxation and expenditures, energy and the environment. Furthermore I support foreign policy that puts American interests first always and everywhere. Unlike one of my primary opponents, I believe in America and know we can overcome our current difficulties without first collapsing in chaos. I believe in our strong corporations and banking system as led by the Federal Reserve. I believe and have faith in the strength of the U.S. dollar. I believe in a strong U.S. military which protects American interests around the globe. I believe in immigration policy based on strongly protecting our borders, reducing legal immigration to sustainable levels and not allowing citizenship for illegal immigrants. I believe with strong leadership we can compete with India and China. I believe I can work to restore pride in our federal government.

Roche for Congress is paying attention to the concerns of the voters in the 4^th District. Roche for Congress is paying attention to what’s going on in Washington, D.C. Pay attention to Roche for Congress. Together we can put a conservative Republican into North Carolina’s 4^th District Congressional seat in 2010. I thank you for your continued support and trust.

What a great week it has been on the campaign trail. it is so inspiring to see motivated and determined volunteers and friends, work to ensure a true conservative Republican is elected to US Congress in November. That person is none other then Frank Roche.

Thank you all for taking time out of your busy schedules to help. We had many volunteers come out and show support during the Wake County GOP Campaign Blitz last Saturday in Holly Springs as we knocked on doors, made some new friends, and helped pass Frank Roche’s message of common sense conservative solutions to the many issues we face today.

We also had a tremendous time at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade downtown. The response we recieved was amazing, and we passed out nearly a 1000 pieces of campaign material to interested citizens, who all seemed ready to get David Price out of office.

This has been another busy week in Durham County. The Durham County Convention was this past Saturday at the Bathesda Ruritan Club, and the turnout was fantastic. We had a very prepared and ready team to represent Frank Roche. We recieved a lot of attention, and interest and many people asked if they can volunteer and helping the cause.

Frank did speak to the group and truly made an impact on everyone on hand. Frank Roche is able to do something that few others in politics can do. Frank not only discusses the important issues, but also offers real and viable solutions. He is direct and clear with his answers and never vague.
