Lt. Colonel Patrick Testerman USAF (ret) spoke on “Reversing America’s Decline” at the ICON Lecture Series on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

The lecture addressed issues of military leadership, including the role of our past military history in national and international leadership. This included the central qualities of virtue and moral clarity in the unparalleled influence that the U.S. has had.

Lt. Colonel Testerman served in the U.S. Air Force for over 23 years. He was: Research Analyst for Strategic Defense Initiative Organization; Air Force pilot with over 3,000 hours during two combat tours of Kosovo, Serbia, and Iraq; Instructor in leadership and ethics at the Air War College and Joint Warfighter School.

ICON’s next lecture will be “The Refugee Resettlement Migration Crisis” on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 7 pm. at Extraordinary Ventures, 200 S. Elliott Road, Chapel Hill. The guest speaker will be James Simpson, an investigative journalist and a nationally recognized expert on issues brought about during refugee resettlement.
