Thanks as always for such a stimulating and inspiring meeting at your
home last week! Very, very energizing.
One of the issues that came up was brought up by me, and is in regard to
the stated attempt by this administration to provide citizenship rights to
the 12-20 million persons who are illegally in the U.S. The main reason
that amnesty for illegals did not happen in 2007 or 2008 was because of the
organization NumbersUSA. Their web site is www.numbersusa.com. They have a
membership of about a million, and in order to be as effective as they need
to be, the membership total needs to grow. So, I URGE all of our members to
look at that organization, and to join. It is nice to contribute, if you
wish, but really membership is equally important, and free. By the way,
Numbersusa is one of only 500 organizations that have the highest approval
seal by the Better Business Bureau for fiscal responsibility and care of
contributed money. So, if you do contribute, you can count on getting big
bangs for your buck.
In short, JOIN NUMBERSUSA and protect our nation. Did you know that we
are giving out 75,000 permanent green card work permits to foreigners every
month at the time we have over 10% unemployment? This is just one of the
issues this organization deals with. If you have any questions, please let
me know. I have been doing what I can to help them for several years.
There are other also very activist groups working on immigration issues, but
NumbersUSA is the most effective and works most effectively to influence
congresscritters.
