WHY THE MINNESOTA DEMOCRAT REPRESENTATIVE WAS MURDERED
China on Friday criticized Israel’s airstrike against Iran, which has emerged during recent years as a key strategic partner of the Chinese Communist Party as Chinese government-linked companies invest heavily in the Iranian economy and lead the world in Iranian crude oil purchases.
Beijing “opposes actions that violate Iran’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity” and is “deeply concerned about the potential grave consequences of the operations,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian told reporters.
His comments underscored the precariousness of the current dynamics in the Middle East, as well as the prospect that the situation could dangerously devolve into global conflict.
There is a consensus in some American national security circles that China and Russia, as well as North Korea, would likely back Tehran against the U.S., Israel and other Western allies should the present hostilities spiral into world war.
The notion of such an alignment hung in the backdrop Friday as world leaders watched for signs of whether Iran may attempt to target both Israel and the U.S. in retaliation for Israel’s airstrikes, which decimated several Iranian nuclear sites and killed the top commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami.
News of his death has triggered global headlines and brought to the fore a level of regional anxiety comparable to that which gripped the Middle East during the days after a U.S. drone strike killed Mr. Salami’s predecessor, Qassem Soleimani, in October of 2020.
Israel launched the opening salvo in a massive military campaign against Iran and its nuclear program late Thursday evening, bombing dozens of military targets that included the homes of senior Iranian political and military officials, as well as two major nuclear sites.
Iranian state TV reported that the Israeli strikes appear to have killed at least four officials, including Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps commander Hossein Salami. The former IRGC leader said earlier Thursday that the Islamic Republic was “fully ready for any scenario” ahead of the Israeli operation. Also killed, according to Iranian media, were Gholamali Rashid, deputy commander in chief of the Iranian armed forces, and armed forces chief of staff
Mohammed Bagheri.
Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that the operation is designed to derail Iran’s pursuit of a nuclear weapon.
“We struck at the heart of Iran’s nuclear enrichment program,” he said. “We struck at the heart of Iran’s nuclear weaponization program. We targeted Iran’s main enrichment facility in Natanz. We targeted Iran’s leading nuclear scientists working on the Iranian bomb. We also struck at the heart of Iran’s ballistic missile program.”
The Israel Defense Forces confirmed the start of an “aerial campaign against Iran’s nuclear program” that is expected to last for several days and is codenamed “Rising Lion.”
Other targets include Tehran’s long-range missile capabilities, which can easily reach Israel and penetrate its air defenses.
“This operation is a preemptive, precise, combined offensive based on high quality intelligence to strike Iran’s nuclear program and other military targets,” the IDF said during a Thursday evening briefing. “The State of Israel will not allow a regime whose objective is to destroy the State of Israel to obtain weapons of mass destruction.”
Israel is targeting Tehran’s “nuclear plants,” as well as its “military headquarters” across the country, military commanders, and long-range missile sites, the IDF said.

Los Angeles is burning. Earlier this year, seasonal fires ripped through the Southern California city, but now, the fires are entirely manmade. In response to the Trump administration’s deportation policy, left-wing activists and opportunistic rioters have taken to the streets to vandalize property, incinerate automobiles, and assault law enforcement officers. The images emerging from the city are shocking: thugs hurling rocks from an overpass onto police; men spinning motorcycles around burning debris; a masked, shirtless rioter waving a Mexican flag atop a burned-out autonomous car.
In short, the Left is giving President Trump all the visual symbolism he needs to advance his immigration agenda. Most Americans see chaos in the name of a foreign flag and find it repellent. Though Trump’s language about a migrant “invasion” has sometimes been dismissed as hyperbolic, it seems that the Left is intent on turning it into a material reality.
The question: How should the president respond? Many on the right may feel an instinctual reaction to “send in the troops.” While this concern for law and order is natural and merited, it must be pursued in a way that maximizes the chance for success and minimizes the chance for blowback. As the president considers his options, he might keep in mind a number of strategic points that, if implemented, will increase his leverage in the fight for large-scale deportations.
The administration must deny the Left a strong visual counterargument. It’s easy to see how scenes of militarization, abuse of demonstrators, or a violent death could reverse public sympathies and present the administration as abusing its authority. The language of politics is visual—and therefore emotional, which means that a single mistake can reverse the flow of opinion and imperil the president’s immigration agenda. Left-wing tacticians have trained their foot soldiers to bait law enforcement into confrontation and to play victim for the press, to great effect.
To prevent this scenario, Trump has a number of strategic options available to him. First, rather than sending in more troops to stop the fires, the president might be better advised to hold off. Right now, California governor Gavin Newsom has sided with the demonstrators, but if the riots spread further, this stance will cost him in public opinion, and eventually, he will have to assume the mantle of authority. The public will expect Newsom to restore order, and he’ll have to incur the risk of using force.
Hundreds of “protesters” turned into thousands of rioters before long, complete with matching t-shirts and professionally printed signs, signaling the involvement of organizations with some degree of funding behind them.
As Data Republican found, CHIRLA and the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSLWEB) are two of the NGOs implicated in this ongoing riot.

A smartphone smuggled out of North Korea has revealed the astonishing levels of control the secretive dictatorship is exercising over its people.
The phone, which from the outside appears no different from a normal device, issued warnings about using South Korean slang words to users, and auto-corrected “South Korea” to read “puppet state,” an investigation from the BBC found.
It would also covertly take a screenshot every five minutes, storing the images in a secret folder which the user couldn’t access, but which presumably were accessible to North Korean authorities.

When driving south through Las Vegas to CA, you pass this monstrosity just before you enter CA. Another failed Green New Deal costing taxpayers billions.
The Ivanpah solar power facility in California is shutting down next year. The 2 BILLION dollar blight built on 3,500 pristine acres of Mojave desert has been responsible for incinerating more than 60,000 birds, created TWICE the pollution of a typical power plant, created 86 jobs instead of the promised 2000, and will abandon 173,500 thermal collectors in the environment they were trying to save.

According to NIH records, Libo Shan and Ping He received more than $7.6 million in total funding between two sponsored projects, awarded one to each scientist. Both NIH projects (R35GM144275 and R35GM149197) were cited in at least two research papers involving both Jian and Liu, the indicted Chinese nationals.
Other research papers on which both Jian and Liu were authors cite awards from the National Science Foundation, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture.

Lt General Michael Flynn Has Strong Advice for President Donald Trump Regarding Russia-Ukraine Conflict
June 4, 2025 | SundanceIt is at moments like this when I wish General Michael Flynn had not comprehensively compromised his ability to provide advice and counsel to President Donald Trump. This is great advice shared via Twitter:
“1. While most of America remains blissfully uninformed by our establishment press, the world’s two greatest superpowers are being manipulated by Dark Forces inside and outside our government, into a major military confrontation that no country wants, and no sane person would ever want.
2. I have no role in the Trump Administration, but over a long career in the active uniformed military, specifically military intelligence, I have made it a point to cultivate many sources of information around the world. From what I can piece together, I want to share my deep concerns about who is behind this march to war, and my recommendations for how our nation and the West can avoid a major military confrontation with Russia.”
“3. I believe that the American Deep State is staffed by those with a deep, visceral, and irrational hatred for Russia, and these persons have conspired to box in President Trump’s decision making through the Russiagate Hoax. During the time the Soviet Union was expanding and infiltrating our government, I was an outspoken anti-communist, but, despite the lies told by our Deep State, Russia is not the Soviet Union and Putin is not Stalin. Even today, years after the Russiagate Hoax has been exposed, President Trump’s efforts to bring peace are met with resistance. The Establishment Press, deeply influenced and even sometimes controlled by our Deep State, labeled President Trump and those who work for him “Putin’s Puppets” to goad him into taking unwarranted and aggressive steps against Russia. These voices from the establishment press reflect the views of the Deep State, not the American People, and not the MAGA movement, and should be completely disregarded, if not mocked.”
