DETAILS OF TULSI GABBARD TAKING CONTROL OF THE PRESIDENT’S DAILY BRIEFING
Interestingly, just a few days before Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, took control of the National Intelligence Council (NIC) away from the CIA, Gabbard also made a move that is just as consequential and directly related.
It is pretty clear now the NIC was in the middle of a domestic Intelligence Community operation against the Trump administration when Tulsi Gabbard intercepted it (we hope with support from CIA Director John Ratcliffe, but we are not sure). {GO DEEP} It is clear from the comments by SoS/NSA Rubio, that several media outlets were poised and awaiting leaks from the NIC in anticipation of fulfilling their role to advance the operation. [SEE HERE] DNI Gabbard essentially quashed their plan.
However, I was not aware that it was pushed into the public sphere where DNI Gabbard had taken control of the Presidential Daily Brief simultaneous to her confrontation with the NIC operation. [NYT LINK, Archive] I am writing this update to inform and also ensure the CTH library has a reference point for future discussions. Please familiarize yourself with the citations above as well as two very important outlines.
#1 – The unrealized power of the DNI and the possibilities for Trump’s appointed Director of National Intelligence, if a particular process was followed {GO DEEP}. #2 – The actual purpose of the Presidential Daily Brief (PDB), as well as the modern weaponization of it by the CIA. {GO DEEP}. Those two citations are important context to understand a very visible dynamic taking place.
On the same day that DNI Tulsi Gabbard took control of the PDB away from the CIA, DNI Gabbard also removed the National Intelligence Council from the CIA. This is very good news and highlights both President Trump and DNI Gabbard understanding the unrealized potential power of the DNI that we have discussed on these pages.
Confronting a weaponized Intelligence Community is a key facet of interest for us because it is a core component battle against the main tools of the Fourth Branch of Government. The IC influence is in every policy related to Trump’s domestic and foreign agenda. Taking control and neutering the capabilities of the IC and CIA specifically, is a key undertaking.

More than 100 Duke University alumni and parents have signed a letter to the university, expressing serious concerns about what they describe as “extremism” by Frances Hasso, Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Gender, Sexuality and Feminist Studies. The letter encapsulates details that I initially reported. It articulates serious concerns regarding Hasso’s upcoming instruction of the school’s Global Palestine course this Fall. They write: |
|
Professor Hasso has a long and public history of hostility and antipathy toward Israel and Zionists. In just the past year and a half, Professor Hasso has questioned allegations of rape and sexual torture of Israelis from Hamas on October 7 asserting “No one was raped on October 7.” Hasso recently shared a post alleging that “Israel keeps trying to kill Israeli hostages… all as [an] excuse to prolong the Genocidal plan of erasing two million Palestinians from Gaza. Israel’s priorities are Nazi’s war-time policies – fastracking Genocide (Final Solution).” She also previously posted on X: “HAMAS OFFICIALLY DEFEATS ISRAEL!” and “The US empire cannot end soon enough.” |
|
The alumni and parents add: |
|
Surely Duke can find a more qualified and objective teacher for such a sensitive subject matter… At an absolute minimum, it should be co-taught by a historian with a background in Israeli and Middle Eastern studies to counter Professor Hasso’s extremism.

Mike Johnson, Donald Trump get ‘big, ‘beautiful’ win as budget passes House
The House began debating the bill just before 3 a.m. on Thursday
May 22, 2025President Donald Trump’s “one big, beautiful bill” passed the House of Representatives early on Thursday morning with few Republican defections.
It is a significant victory for House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., who navigated deep inter-party friction within the House GOP Conference to deliver a product from which few Republican lawmakers ultimately defected.
The bill is a sweeping multi-trillion-dollar piece of legislation that advances Trump’s agenda on taxes, immigration, energy, defense and the national debt. It’s sought to make a dent in the federal government’s spending trajectory by cutting roughly $1.5 trillion in government spending elsewhere. The U.S. government is over $36 trillion in debt and has spent $1.05 trillion more than it’s collected in the 2025 fiscal year, according to the Treasury Department.

Last week, President Donald Trump signed an executive order directing the U.S. Department of Education to review and roll back federal policies that prevent teachers from disciplining disruptive students. It’s a long-overdue move.
For over a decade, misguided federal guidance rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusion ideology and “disparate impact” theory has tied the hands of educators and created a culture of disorder in America’s classrooms. This new action could mark a turning point in restoring order, accountability, and respect for the teaching profession.
Teachers across America are sounding the alarm: student behavior is out of control, and the systems meant to support them are doing the opposite. In a 2023 EdWeek survey, 7 in 10 educators reported worsening behavior. And a Fordham Institute survey revealed that over 75% of teachers agree that a handful of troublemakers disrupt learning for everyone.
The Left’s social engineering in public education has reached its most destructive point: the death of discipline. Across the country, school districts have adopted so-called “restorative justice” and “equitable discipline” frameworks that favor identity-based outcomes over student behavior. These aren’t harmless feel-good reforms. They are policies that silence teachers, embolden disruptors, and endanger students.

Trump’s ‘knock-down-drag-out counterrevolution’ is tackling long-festering ills no one else would
Published May 16, 2025Pundits are confused about what to make of the first 100 days of the second Trump administration.
Supporters talk of “flooding the zone,” believing President Donald Trump is making so many changes so quickly that his opposition is reduced to deer-in-the-headlights infancy.
They must be right when the nation suffers daily Democratic potty-mouth videos, vandalism of Teslas, infantile meltdowns at congressional witnesses, rioting against federal agents to protect illegal-alien felons, protesting on behalf of women beaters, M-13 gangbangers, human traffickers and assaulters, and visa-holding violent students praising Hamas terrorists.
In contrast, opponents either claim Trump’s first three months are either directionless chaos or a Hitlerian nightmare or both.
But what is really happening?
One, Trump is finally addressing the problems that proverbially “cannot go on forever, and so they won’t go on.”
When, if ever, would the left have closed the southern border?
After 10 million, 30 million, 50 million illegal aliens?
How many more criminal illegal entrants was the Biden administration willing to allow into American neighborhoods — 500,000?
1 million?
3 million?
How long was the world simply going to ignore the human destruction on the doorstep of Europe?
Would former President Joe Biden or former Vice President Kamala Harris have sought a Ukraine War cease-fire?
Or would it have taken another 1.5 million, 3 million or even 5 million more dead, wounded, and missing Ukrainians and Russians?
Nor did past administrations ever seek a solution to the massive national debt, much less the uncontrollable budget and trade deficits.
All prior presidents passed the day of judgment on to some vague future presidency, assured that their money printing would at least not blow up on their watch.
All moaned that China was piling up huge trade surpluses while denying its own population the usual modern safety net.
They knew Beijing’s aim was to use the trillions of dollars in trade surpluses to build a new massive military, a greater arsenal of nuclear bombs and a new imperial Belt and Road overseas empire.
Yet no administration did anything but greenlight American offshoring while ignoring Chinese trade cheating and technology theft.
Indeed, prior presidencies appeased and enriched China on the foolish belief that such indulgence would lead to Chinese prosperity, and with such Western-style affluence, soon a globalized, democratic and supposedly friendly China.
A Fabulous show ! Nancy

By Townhall. FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed Thursday that an ISIS plot to murder Americans in Michigan was foiled.
“I can now confirm reports that our FBI teams and partners foiled an attempted ISIS attack on one of our U.S. military bases in Warren, Michigan,” Patel announced on X. “The individual, Ammar Abdulmajid-Mohamed Said, plotted a mass shooting at the U.S. Army’s Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command (TACOM) facility before multiple undercover law enforcement officers obtained information of his plans.”
“Said was arrested this week and will now face charges of supporting a foreign terrorist organization, among others,” he continued. “Our agents, intelligence teams, and partners acted quickly — and they saved lives. Well done to all on executing the mission.”
According to the Department of Justice, Said was a former member of the Michigan National Guard.
“This defendant is charged with planning a deadly attack on a U.S. military base here at home for ISIS,” DOJ National Security Division Director Sue Bai added in a statement. “Thanks to the tireless efforts of law enforcement, we foiled the attack before lives were lost. We will not hesitate to bring the full force of the Department to find and prosecute those who seek to harm our men and women in the military and to protect all Americans.”

This Deep State cleanout move is coordinated by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe.
News is coming out about DNI Tulsi Gabbard taking the National Intelligence Council out of the CIA silo, and removing the two heads of the agency, Chairman Mike Collins (friend of Mike Morrell) and Deputy Chair Maria Langan-Riekhof. Both officials were conducting intelligence operations on behalf of the Lawfare aligned Intel Community.
WASHINGTON DC – Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has fired the top officials leading the National Intelligence Council – whom whistleblowers describe as “radically opposed to Trump” — and has moved the agency to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, or ODNI, to ensure she can block any “politicization of intelligence,” Fox News Digital has learned.
Gabbard fired Mike Collins, who was serving as the acting chair of the National Intelligence Council, and his deputy, Maria Langan-Riekhof, Tuesday, senior intelligence officials told Fox News Digital.
Fox News Digital reached out Langan-Riekhof for comment and did not immediately hear back, and couldn’t immediately find contact information for Collins.
Collins also has whistleblower complaints against him for political bias and “deliberately undermining the incoming Trump administration,” officials said.
They added that Collins was closely associated with Michael Morrell, the former deputy director of the CIA who worked to write a public letter in 2020 claiming that Hunter Biden’s laptop had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation,” and to get signatures from top ex-intelligence officials.
As for Langan-Reikhof, officials said she has been a “key advocate” for diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, and is someone who whistleblowers allege is “radically opposed to Trump.”
Meanwhile, Gabbard is moving the National Intelligence Council from the CIA to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to “directly hold accountable any improper action and politicization of intelligence,” Fox News Digital has learned.
Many intel community leakers are “career bureaucrats that are entrenched in Washington politics,” officials said.
“It takes time to weed them out and fire them,” one official told Fox News Digital, adding that “plans to eliminate non-essential offices within ODNI that we know are housing deep state leakers are underway.” (read more)

There’s no such thing as a free lunch, or a free Air Force One
By Douglas Andrews May 13, 2025
History is full of ambiguities, but one thing we can now say for certain: Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaida brethren failed miserably in their jihad against the United States.
Think about it: 24 years ago, the Arab street’s white-hot hatred of everything American caused them to attack us with our own Boeing jetliners — and then pour out into the streets to celebrate the mass murder.
And yet today, Boeing jetliners are back in the news, but this time as a gift from the Arab World to the American president — an American president who, by all accounts, is the most pro-Israel president in American history.
Times change. But, as bin Laden himself presciently put it, “When people see a strong horse and a weak horse, by nature, they will like the strong horse.” In his day, bin Laden saw the U.S. as a weak horse. Today, the Arab World knows otherwise. They now see the U.S., under Donald Trump’s leadership, as the strong horse. Just ask the once-belligerent Yemeni-based Houthis, who cried “Uncle” last week after a devastating U.S. bombing campaign aimed at stopping their years-long terrorism of international shipping lanes.
This, then, is the backdrop for a remarkable gift being offered to Trump by the tiny oil-rich Arab emirate of Qatar. As ABC News first reported:
In what may be the most valuable gift ever extended to the United States from a foreign government, the Trump administration is preparing to accept a super luxury Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet from the royal family of Qatar — a gift that is to be available for use by President Donald Trump as the new Air Force One until shortly before he leaves office, at which time ownership of the plane will be transferred to the Trump presidential library foundation, sources familiar with the proposed arrangement told ABC News.

Fighting the Islamization of the continent
By Rowan Scarborough – The Washington Times – Sunday, May 11, 2025
In early May, a smattering of local elections in England produced Muslim winners.
Maheen Kamran, 18, won a county council seat for the town of Burnley. She says she opposes Muslim men and women “free mixing” in public.
She will be joined on Lancashire County Council by Azar Ali. The Labor Party kicked him out for anti-Jewish statements, the Daily Mail reported.
So goes Britain, and Christian Europe, these days. Western customs, such as the sexes socializing in a park or restaurant or street, and respect for Jews, are being challenged by an increasingly belligerent Muslim population bolstered by yearslong mass immigration.
“The Europeans have learned the hard way that mass migration of Muslims without assimilation leads to submission of their own cultures,” Jim Hanson, chief editor for Middle East Forum, told me.

Don Brown, a conservative attorney, author, and former U.S. Navy JAG officer, has declared his candidacy for the 2026 U.S. Senate race in North Carolina, aiming to unseat incumbent Republican Senator Thom Tillis in the GOP primary.
“Ed Martin stood up for January 6 defendants. He never backed down from telling the truth. Thom Tillis helped block his path. This is exactly why North Carolina needs new leadership—men and women who won’t fold under pressure and won’t bow to the D.C. establishment. I stand with President Trump. I stand with Ed Martin. Newly obtained donor records revealed that hundreds of thousands of dollars have flowed from entities linked to the Chinese government into the coffers of the University of California, Berkeley, one of the most prestigious public institutions in the nation.
Members of the Chinese Communist Party, a sanctioned Chinese research university, and Chinese state-owned enterprises have all routed donations to UC Berkeley, according to documents received by the Washington Free Beacon via a public records request. The outlet’s report came on the heels of the Trump administration launching an investigation into the university over its failure to disclose a $220 million research deal with China’s Tsinghua University — a state-run institution with deep ties to the People’s Liberation Army.
Tsinghua isn’t the only Chinese university with questionable ties that UC Berkeley has financially entangled itself with. The University of Science and Technology of China sent $60,000 to UC Berkeley to support its chemistry program in 2023. Just a year later, the Department of Commerce blacklisted the Chinese university for “acquiring and attempting to acquire U.S.-origin items in support of advancing China’s quantum technology capabilities, which has serious ramifications for U.S. national security given the military applications of quantum technologies.”
